What We’re Learning
Reading- We will be reading books focusing on teamwork this week. Our responses to these books will help us in building our classroom community.
Writing- We are still focusing on writing as a tool for communication. Please encourage your kids to write, even if they are unsure of how to spell certain words. Experience plus effort will help them become great writers!
Math- We are working on problem solving strategies. Your kids are great at finding the answer to a problem, but many of them get stuck when they have to explain how they got that answer. We will be working on verbalizing as well as writing down their thinking.
Science- We will be learning about the five senses this week.
